When I was a kid I used to watch the sitcom Full House every time it came on because I absolutely found it entertaining. It was what me and my cousin Melanie watched as little kids because it was enjoyable and we learned a lot about growing up from DJ, Stephanie, and Michelle Tanner. We related a lot to their kid problems from adjusting to their unfamiliar home life to fitting in at school.

And thanks to the invention of the DVR is what I am currently re-watching as a grown man because I still find it highly enjoyable and because I still find value from it learning life's lessons from Danny Tanner, Jesse Katsopolis, and Joey Gladstone . What's not to love about Full House?

The best part about Full House is the life lessons that are taught in every episode. Rarely, does one come across something as genuine and heart warming as the unconventional household that are the Tanners, Jesse, Joey, Becky, and later a pair of twins.

In conclusion, Full House is a special show in my heart that I have come full circle to and will pass down to my kids, nieces, and nephews.

Teen Wolf

I really enjoyed Teen Wolf. It's an 80's movie classic in my opinion. I love how the plot is simple and predictable yet highly entertaining because it is about a werewolf playing basketball. Come on, the combination of old school basketball shorts that were really short and hairy werewolf legs is not funny to you? lol

Though Michael J. Fox as a Teen wolf is more believable than he as a high school basketball player because of his height, it's a coming of age movie that everyone that has gone through high school and puberty can relate to. Watch it and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Strike Back

I couldn't sleep last night. I tossed and turned in my bed. Finally, I just gave up and turned on my TV. I flipped through several channels until I got to Cinemax. I decided to watch Strike Back because my coworker had highly recommended it.

I saw the Strike Back pilot and was immediately hooked by the amount of action and suspense. However, I did feel that it had one too many sex scenes. Of the three new shows that I've seen (Homeland, Strike Back, and Shameless), they all have one thing in common - nudity. I've never been a fan of sex scenes in movies, but I understand the need for it. Sex sells and keeps the viewer watching. At the same time, these sex scenes can distract viewers from the story and even bore them.

Blood and violence also plays a huge part in Strike Back. I love violence in movies as much as the next guy but I'm not one for gory, bloody details. I do not want to see a head shot and then blood rushing out of a dude's skull. Maybe I'm speaking on behalf of many viewers, or maybe not I could be wrong. I don't think we are that primitive.

I will continue to watch Strike Back and probably end up watching the entire first season, but certainly not for the blood, sex, and gory violence. I think I'd enjoy it more if it were an NBC or ABC series.
